Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager)

About the role

7-Eleven is seeking a Retail Assistant Manager to join our team. This role offers full-time hours and valuable management and leadership experience with competitive pay.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees
• Maintain high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity
• Absorb and implement all merchandising and marketing programs
• Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote loyalty programs
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures
• Communicate effectively and maintain interpersonal relationships
• Utilize proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft products preferred)

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Valid driver’s license with appropriate insurance
• High school diploma or GED preferred with at least one year of retail management experience

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
