Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager)

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees alongside the Store Leader.
• Maintain high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
• Assist in implementing all merchandising and marketing programs.
• Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote the loyalty program.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures.
• Show excellent oral and written communication and intrapersonal skills.
• Display proficiency in computer knowledge (Microsoft products preferred).
• Have a High School diploma or GED, or at least one year of Retail Management experience.
• Hold a valid Driver’s License and maintain automotive liability insurance.
• Ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

A High School diploma or GED is preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of Retail Management experience. A valid Driver’s License from the state of residence is required, along with automotive liability insurance.

• Experience in supervisory roles.
• Strong customer service and leadership skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer literacy (Microsoft products preferred).
• Valid Driver’s License and auto insurance.
