Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager)

We are currently seeking a Retail Assistant Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees alongside the Store Leader.
• Maintain high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
• Aid in implementing all merchandising and marketing programs.
• Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote our loyalty program.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with all health and sanitation procedures.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and build positive relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Ensure compliance with all local laws and regulations regarding safety, health, and environmental standards.
• Multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of Retail Management experience.
• Valid Driver’s License from the state of residence while maintaining automotive liability insurance during employment.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in retail or similar field.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

• Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office products preferred).

Pay

$15.50 - $21.00 per hour
