About the role

7-Eleven is seeking a Retail Assistant Manager to join our team. This role offers full-time hours and valuable management and leadership experience with competitive pay.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees.
  • Maintain high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
  • Aid in implementing merchandising and marketing programs.
  • Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote loyalty programs.
  • Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures.
  • Show excellent oral and written communication and intrapersonal skills.
  • Show proficiency in computer knowledge (Microsoft products preferred).
  • Show the ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

Preferred qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, at least one year of Retail Management experience, a valid Driver’s License, and automotive liability insurance.
