Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager)

We are currently seeking a Retail Assistant Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees alongside the Store Leader.
• Maintain high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
• Aid in implementing all merchandising and marketing programs.
• Ensure compliance with health and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and demonstrate interpersonal skills.
• Show proficiency in cash handling, fuel transactions, and promoting the loyalty program.
• Manage multiple tasks, perform repetitive physical activities, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Requirements

• A High School diploma or GED is preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of Retail Management experience.
• A valid Driver’s License from the state of residence while maintaining automotive liability insurance during employment.
• The ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience.
• Ability to promote from within and provide advancement opportunities for all levels.

Skills

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel).

$12.00 - $18.50 per hour
