Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager)

The Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager) position at 7-Eleven, Inc. is a leadership role aimed at those who enjoy working as part of a management team and have previous supervisory experience. This role focuses on overseeing and providing customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees. The Assistant Store Leader Trainee role is currently open and offers full-time hours and valuable management and leadership experience with competitive pay.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching, alongside the Store Leader, for all store employees.
- Maintain high retention by focusing on identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
- Aid in implementing all merchandising and marketing programs.
- Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote the loyalty program.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with all health and sanitation procedures.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and possess strong interpersonal skills.
- Show proficiency in computer knowledge, particularly Microsoft products like Word and Excel.
Requirements
- A High School diploma or GED is preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of Retail Management experience.
- A valid Driver’s License from the state of residence while maintaining automotive liability insurance during employment.
- The ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
