Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager)

As a Retail Assistant Manager (Assistant Store Leader Trainee), you’ll work as part of a management team, grow your leadership skills, and make a meaningful impact in stores and communities every day.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees alongside the Store Leader.
• Maintain high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
• Assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs.
• Handle cash, fuel transactions, and promote our loyalty program.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures to ensure store presentability and product stock.

Requirements

• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft products, including Word and Excel).
• A High School diploma or GED is preferred but not required for candidates with at least one year of Retail Management experience.
• A valid Driver’s License from the state of residence and maintenance of automotive liability insurance during employment.
• Ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
