Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager)

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees.
• Maintain high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
• Aid in implementing all merchandising and marketing programs.
• Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote loyalty programs.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures.
• Communicate effectively and build positive relationships with both customers and colleagues.
• Multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required for candidates with one year of retail management experience.
• Valid driver's license from the state of residence with automotive liability insurance.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
