About the role

The Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager) role at 7-Eleven, Inc. is responsible for overseeing and providing customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees. This position offers full-time hours and valuable management and leadership experience with competitive pay.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching, alongside the Store Leader, for all store employees.
  • Maintain high retention by focusing on identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
  • Aid in implementing all merchandising and marketing programs.
  • Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote the loyalty program.
  • Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with all health and sanitation procedures.
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • Show proficiency in computer operations, particularly Microsoft products like Word and Excel.
  • Have a High School diploma or GED, with at least one year of Retail Management experience preferred.
  • Hold a valid Driver’s License from the state of residence with automotive liability insurance.
  • Be able to multitask, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and lift up to 50 pounds.

The hourly or salary range for this role is determined by 7-Eleven in good faith at the time of this posting. The Company may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in this state. This range may be modified in the future.
