Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager)

About the role

The Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager) position at Speedway7-Eleven involves overseeing and providing customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees. This role requires a strong focus on employee development, retention, and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching, alongside the Store Leader, for all store employees.
• Maintain high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
• Assist in implementing all merchandising and marketing programs.
• Competent in cash handling, fuel transactions, and promoting the loyalty program.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures.
• Excellent oral and written communication and intrapersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft products (Word, Excel).
• A High School diploma or GED is preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of Retail Management experience.
• A valid Driver’s License from the state of residence while maintaining automotive liability insurance during employment.
• The ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

• One year of Retail Management experience.
• A valid Driver’s License from the state of residence.
• Proficient in Microsoft products (Word, Excel).
• The ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

$14.25 - $19.25 per hour
