Job Duties
- Reviewing and evaluating misdemeanor cases
- Filing accusations
- Arguing motions
- Conducting plea negotiations
- Managing pre-trial diversion cases
- Handling the trial of misdemeanor cases
- Probation revocations
- Appeals
Minimum Qualifications
- A member in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia
- A member of the Bar of the Appellate Courts of Georgia
- Those who have just passed the Bar and are awaiting swearing-in may also be considered
- An employment background check and drug screening will be required
- Candidates possessing the minimum qualifications will be contacted directly if selected for an interview
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a prosecutor or with a prosecution office as an intern or extern under the Third-Year Practice Act of Law School Graduate Practice Act
Salary Range: Commensurate with experience.
