Assistant Solicitor General

Duties

• Brief writing
• Presenting oral argument
• Managing own cases
• Working in teams for the State’s most important cases
• Suggesting and pursuing ideas on proactive litigation

Qualifications

• Must be, or be eligible to become, licensed attorneys in good standing with the Oklahoma State Bar
• Strong writing, research, and interpersonal skills are required
• Clerkship or fellowship experience is preferred, but not required
• All applicants must agree in writing to complete, and satisfactorily pass, a background investigation

Compensation

Salary range: Commensurate with experience and qualifications
