Join the Lincoln High School Athletics Department as an Assistant Softball Coach and help inspire student-athletes to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of athletes while fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership in a challenging, competitive environment.
• Work in conjunction with the Head Coach in determining athlete participation during practices and games, including playing time at the respective levels.
• Positively promote the athletic program within the schools and community.
• Operate within the policies of the conference and the SDHSAA.
• Maintain a staff relationship with other coaches.
• Affiliate with fund-raising activities as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Education Level: BA/BS Education Preferred
• Experience Desired: Coaching and teaching experience desired.
• Physical Requirements: Hand-eye/mind-eye coordination, physical dexterity, the ability to bend, stoop, walk, talk, and sit. The ability to travel between locations.
• Other Requirements: Fundamentals of Coaching or equivalent (must be completed one time); Sports First Aid or Prevention and Care of Athletic Injuries or equivalent (must be renewed once every two years); Concussion in Sports - What You Need to Know (must be renewed on an annual basis. High school/college participation preferred. Teaching assignment in building preferred.)

PAY INFORMATION

Season Pay: $4,097.00 - 2026-2027
