Assistant Softball Coach
About the role
This position is a full-time, 12-month appointment with full benefit package. Salary is commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the training, identification, and recruitment of athletically and academically talented student-athletes.
- Foster a positive and competitive environment.
- Assist with administration and organization of tournaments, games, practice, management of equipment, fundraising, and community involvement.
- Maintain compliance with NCAA, MAC, and CMU rules & regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Collegiate softball pitching and/or coaching experience.
- Knowledge of and commitment to following NCAA rules and regulations.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree.
- Three years of collegiate softball pitching coaching experience.
- Division I softball coaching and recruiting experience.
