Assistant Softball Coach

About the role

To assist the Head Softball Coach in administering all aspects of an educationally sound and competitive Division I women’s softball program.

Responsibilities

• Practice, planning and game preparation.
• On-field duties along with office duties.
• Video analysis of practice and game film.
• Organizing of team community service events.
• Planning team travel itineraries and other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Colege level softball playing experience.
• Strong communication skills and teaching/coaching skills.
• Ability to perform all job duties in accordance with NCAA, Conference, and University rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines.
• A valid driver’s license and a driving record acceptable to the University’s insurance carrier.
