Assistant Snow Equipment Mechanic

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Snow Equipment Mechanic to join our team.

Responsibilities

- Conduct routine maintenance on snow removal equipment to ensure proper functioning - Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot equipment problems - Repair and replace defective parts as needed - Perform safety checks on equipment to maintain a safe working environment - Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair work performed

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent - Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably working with small engines and/or heavy equipment - Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and mechanical components - Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and schematics - Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills - Certification in equipment maintenance and repair is a plus
