Assistant Site Manager (Nights)

About the role

The Assistant Site Manager is a member of the Field Operations team, supporting safe and efficient yard operations at a given customer site. Partnering with the Site Manager, this role supports operations through equipment checks, safety compliance, and maintenance escalation. The Assistant Site Manager reinforces high service standards through people and team development. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, team-oriented operator who can effectively support frontline execution, develop talent, and help deliver consistent, high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager in monitoring performance metrics, identifying process improvements, and assisting with issue resolution that impacts service levels.
• Assist in equipment inspections to ensure good working conditions and communicate repair needs to the Site Manager for vendor coordination.
• Drive a minimum of 30 hours per week.
• Monitor employee adherence to safety standards and report maintenance issues to the Site Manager.
• Assist in training and managing drivers and site-level staff.
• Assist in recruitment, hiring, team building, and mentoring of drivers and site-level staff.
• Attend customer meetings alongside the Site Manager and help maintain positive customer relationships.
• Ensure that all employees provide the highest level of service.

• Maintain up-to-date awareness of industry regulations and market trends to ensure compliance requirements and competitive presence/advantage.

Pay

$68,000.00 – $72,000.00 per year
