Assistant Shop Maintenance Manager

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience with vehicle maintenance and repairs required
• Experience with roof patching, painting, and general building maintenance preferred
• Able to perform landscaping as needed for company property(s)
• Must be able to handle variable weight as it pertains to the equipment used in the performance of your job duties or ask for assistance with lifting, if needed
• Must have valid Virginia driver's license and strong driving record

Duties and Responsibilities

• Evaluate condition of equipment and perform maintenance and repairs of vehicles, while documenting and anticipating cost impacts
• Report problems (mechanical or building system) to manager and resolve in a timely manner
• Maintain all equipment to be kept up to W. M. Jordan's safety standards and operational for its next assignment
• Flexible to assist as needed outside of business hours for building repairs
• Assist Facility Maintenance Manager with miscellaneous tasks
• Transporting construction equipment to W. M. Jordan jobsites
• Assistance with basic W. M. Jordan jobsite logistics
