About the role
The Assistant Service Manager supports the Service Manager with running the Teller line in their assigned branch. This role operates as a Teller at an advanced level, providing and modeling quality customer service.
Responsibilities
- Supports the Service Manager in managing the Teller line.
- Provides and models quality customer service by being friendly and courteous while answering customers' questions.
- Makes recommendations based on a wide range of competitive banking options.
- Assists with coaching and training of Teller staff.
- Trains new Teller staff members on fraud and risk management.
Requirements
- Able to perform all functions of a Teller independently.
- High level of organizational skills to assist with coordination of daily work tasks with Teller personnel.
- Attention to detail in performing more advanced duties with regards to branch operations.
- Ability to assist with coaching and training of Teller staff members.
- Includes product knowledge, technical proficiency, and the CNB referral program.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a customer service role preferred.
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
