Assistant Service Manager

Responsibilities
- Team Support and Collaboration: Assist the Service Manager in supervising the service team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Provide training and guidance to team members to ensure consistent growth and performance excellence
- Serve as a liaison between the Service Manager and service department staff, promoting clear communication and teamwork
- Operational Support: Help oversee daily service department operations to maintain efficiency and productivity. Support the development and implementation of service procedures and standards to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Aid in managing workflow, prioritizing service requests, and optimizing resource allocation
- Customer Engagement: Work with the service team to ensure excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly and professionally
- Compliance and Safety: Promote compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and dealership policies
- Support the implementation of safety protocols to protect employees and customers
- Budget and Resource Management: Assist in monitoring department expenses and analyzing variances to support cost-control initiatives
- Collaborate on budget planning and execution to align with dealership goals
Requirements
- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Basic technical knowledge of RV systems, repairs, and maintenance
- Familiarity with dealership operations and industry regulations
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong computer skills for managing schedules, budgets, and reports
Experience
- 2+ years of experience in RV service, management, or a related field
- College degree preferred but not required
Compensation
$65,000 to $85,000 annually based on experience
