About the role

The Assistant Server is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining room while assisting servers and ensuring guests have a positive fine‑dining experience. This role supports the front‑of‑house team by clearing and resetting tables, replenishing supplies, and maintaining overall restaurant efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including floors, chairs, booths, and service stations
• Assist with setup of the restaurant before each shift and reset as assigned by management
• Assist servers by delivering water, bread, or other items as needed
• Refill beverages when appropriate
• Restock service stations with napkins, silverware, glassware, condiments, and other supplies
• Polish silverware and glassware
• Assist with food running when needed
• Remove trash and debris from dining areas
• Follow all health and sanitation guidelines
• Work alongside servers to provide friendly and professional guest service at all times
• Learn and recite the menu to answer guest questions
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude and demeanor

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous restaurant experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to remain standing or walking for the entirety of the shift
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Pay

Starting at $15.00 per hour, based on experience.
