Job Duties
- Work with Lead Service Technician to investigate and repair all types of low-slope commercial roofs
- Work to develop skill of determining leak location and common leak issues by Roof System Type
- Demonstrate safe working environment
- Develop advanced knowledge of all roof systems and roof system components
- Assist in all snow and hurricane events to either participate in repairs or supervision
- Maintain schedule and requirements of Clients
- Perform quality repairs with no callbacks due to workmanship
- Demonstrate understanding of warranty and non-warranty repair types
- Assist in learning and operating service software (FCS)
- Absorb and collect data for proposed scopes of work
Skills and Qualifications
- Roofing knowledge and experience preferred
- Preferred experience in construction and/or working with hand tools
- Ability to obtain OSHA certification
- Must be able to climb a ladder; position may require lifting up to 80 lbs.
- Must be able to work outside in all elements (heat, cold, rain, snow)
- Ability to operate tablet and smartphone
- Weekend and/or overnight travel may be required
- Pass pre-employment drug screening
