About the Role
Responsible for partnering with the Nurse Manager to assure department operations are carried out. Additional responsibilities include management and development of the unit, including, but not limited to, interviewing, hiring, and supervision of staff, assisting with developing and monitoring of budget, policies and procedures, both new employee orientation and ongoing education of staff, and management of quality improvement programs.

Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Nursing
- Three (3) years of related experience
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of employment or a multistate RN license via the Nurse Licensure Compact
- AHA BLS certification required prior to orientation completion
- ACLS certification required prior to orientation completion
- PALS certification required prior to orientation completion
