Assistant Retail Store Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Aid with opening and closing duties on a rotating schedule.
• Supervise store team members and ensure floor readiness, merchandising, and organization.
• Work directly on the floor, assisting customers, managing staff, and adjusting products as necessary.
• Oversee restocking and preparation activities throughout the week.
• Manage weekend traffic, especially from reseller customers, maintaining control and organization.
• Support team accountability, coach staff, and collaborate closely with the Store Manager.

Candidate Profile

• At least 2 years of experience in retail leadership (such as keyholder, supervisor, or assistant manager roles).
• An interest in fashion and strong merchandising skills.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with large product turnover.
• Willingness to work weekends and extended hours.
• A hands-on, reliable approach to contributing to a more structured and high-performing store environment.
• Prior experience at off-price or high-volume retailers like TJX, Ross, Macy’s, or Nordstrom Rack is advantageous.
