Assistant Restaurant Manager- JINYA

Responsibilities

• Assist in controlling labor cost for the restaurant.
• Assign stations and job duties to staff.
• Greet and seat guests, ensuring proper service.
• Assist in training employees and maintain open communication among dining room personnel.
• Act as Manager in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.
• Understand and demonstrate Management’s point of view.
• Ensure employee safety and maintain cleanliness of side stations, tableware, floors, and condiments.
• Encourage teamwork and coach or counsel employees not meeting standards.
• Treat everyone with care, dignity, fairness, respect, and recognition.
• Visit with guests a minimum of five minutes every hour.
• Ensure all Team Members adhere to Penn Entertainment, JINYA Ramen, and property service standards.
• Execute and communicate all Food and Beverage Department policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Three years of food experience.
• One year of supervisory experience.
• Extraordinary customer service skills.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Comprehensive food knowledge, including Profit and Loss Statements, cost control, training, inventory control, and sanitation.
• Familiarity with the menu, including wine/drink list.
• Friendly and outgoing personality.
• Strong organization skills.

Pay

Starting salary: $55,000 to $65,000 annually, based on experience.
