About the role

The Assistant Restaurant Manager role is a key position within the 7-Eleven team, focusing on overseeing and providing customer service leadership, training, and coaching to all restaurant employees. This role also involves ensuring the restaurant condition complies with company policies and Health Department Standards, managing food preparation and presentation, and using financial reports to drive improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching to all restaurant employees.
  • Ensure the restaurant condition complies with company policies and Health Department Standards.
  • Manage food preparation and presentation, ensuring freshness and quality.
  • Use P&L and store reports to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
  • Read and interpret operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Use proficient computer knowledge, particularly Microsoft products like Word and Excel.
  • Multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

  • A desire to lead and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching.
  • Previous supervisory experience in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents related to operating and maintaining the restaurant.
  • Proficient in using computers, especially Microsoft Office products.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, preferably with one year of Restaurant Management experience.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required for candidates with one year of Restaurant Management experience.

Skills

  • Customer service leadership and coaching skills.
  • Supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting documents and using computers.
  • Ability to manage food preparation and presentation.
