Assistant Restaurant Leader (Assistant Manager)

About the role

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all restaurant employees. You will also ensure the restaurant condition complies with company policies and procedures, and Health Department Standards. You will manage the preparation, presentation, and freshness of all foodservice products, and use P&L and store reports to drive changes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the restaurant condition complies with company policies and procedures as well as Health Department Standards.
• Manage the preparation, presentation, and freshness of all foodservice products.
• Use P&L and store reports to affect change.
• Read and interpret operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Use proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft products preferred Word, Excel).
• Multitask, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have a desire to lead and coach employees, a high school diploma or GED, and at least one year of Restaurant Management experience. Proficient computer skills are also required, with Microsoft products preferred.

Qualifications

A High School diploma or GED is preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of Restaurant Management experience.
