Assistant Restaurant Leader (Assistant Manager)

About the role

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all restaurant employees. You will also ensure the restaurant condition complies with company policies and procedures, and Health Department Standards. You must demonstrate the ability to read and interpret documents, use P&L and store reports to affect change, and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all restaurant employees.
• Ensure the restaurant condition complies with company policies and procedures as well as Health Department Standards.
• Ensure proper preparations, presentation, and freshness of all foodservice products.
• Read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Use P&L and store reports to affect change.
• Multi-task and perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• A desire to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• A high school diploma or GED (preferred but not required for candidates with one year of Restaurant Management experience).
• Proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft products preferred).
• The ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
