Assistant Restaurant Leader (Assistant Manager)

About the role

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager at 7-Eleven, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and providing customer service leadership, training, and coaching to all restaurant employees. You will also ensure the restaurant complies with company policies and health department standards, manage the restaurant's condition, and maintain the freshness of foodservice products.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching to all restaurant employees.
• Ensure the restaurant condition complies with company policies and procedures as well as Health Department Standards.
• Manage proper preparations, presentation, and freshness of all foodservice products.
• Use P&L and store reports to effect change.
• Read and interpret operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Use proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft products preferred Word, Excel).
• Multitask, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have a desire to lead and coach restaurant employees, a strong background in managing a restaurant, and the ability to read and interpret documents and manuals. A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required for candidates with at least one year of restaurant management experience. Proficient computer skills are also essential.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, a proven track record of leadership, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Previous supervisory experience is highly desirable.

Skills

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is required. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is critical.
