Assistant Residential Supervisor

About the role

The Assistant Residential Supervisor will convey passion for helping others with an energetic and positive approach, working with students in a residential treatment setting specializing in trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities

• Convey passion for helping others with an energetic and positive approach, working with students in a residential treatment setting specializing in trauma-informed care.
• Support the professional development of Residential Counselors through training and supervision.
• Support all efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
• Support staff and programming through knowledge of the policies and procedures of the Walden Street School's Residential Department.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Residential program or mental health facility experience required.
• Supervisory experience in Mental Health facility required.
• Maintains valid driver’s license as transporting students is required.
• Available to work evenings, holidays, weekend shifts as required.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a valid driver’s license as transporting students is required.

Skills

• Ability to provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations to ensure the safest therapeutic atmosphere for students.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $21.00 to $27.00 per hour. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future. Due to the nature of our work and the youth who are depending on us, there are times where overtime may be mandated.
