About the Role
This is a full-time Assistant Resident Manager II position at Orchard Ranch, a 41-unit Disabled/Special Needs Family Housing community in Morgan Hill, CA. The Assistant Resident Manager supports the Resident Manager in ensuring the fiscal, physical, and social soundness of the site, taking initiative to solve problems with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Assist with collecting rent, bank deposits, preparing and submitting rent roll, and income verification
- Monitor work orders and walk the grounds daily
- Answer telephone, file documents, and prepare correspondence
- Assist residents with questions or problems
- Support evictions, annual inspections, and repairs
- Assist with re-certifications, resident notifications, setting up appointments, and tracking qualifications
Requirements
- 1+ years of affordable housing property management experience
- 1+ years of tax-credit experience
- Yardi Voyager experience
- Knowledge of HUD, TCAC, DFEH, and ADA guidelines
- Strong problem-solving and resident relations skills
- Proficiency in computer and phone systems
- Ability to work independently and reliably
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Pay
Salary range: $72,072–$98,280 per year. Hiring range for new employees is typically $72,072–$79,716 per year, depending on experience. Offers consider the candidate’s experience and current salary levels of individuals in similar roles at EAH.
Background Check & Drug Testing
EAH Housing conducts criminal background checks, verifies education and employment history, and may require fingerprinting for certain roles. All candidates receiving a conditional job offer must pass a background check and drug test (excluding marijuana/cannabis) within 72 hours of acceptance. If onsite housing is required, household members over 18 must also undergo a background check and tenant screening.
