ASSISTANT RESIDENCE MANAGER - ORANGE COUNTY

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assists the Residence Manager with coordination, organization and management of the residence
• Serves as a role model and advocate
• Ensures safety of the individuals by providing consistent supervision and observation
• Promotes a homelike atmosphere
• Affirms Individual Habilitation Plans
• Provides training of adult living skills in a dignified and respectful manner

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma and one (1) year supervisory experience and one (1) year experience working with the developmentally disabled population; OR three (3) years experience working with the developmentally disabled population required
• Supervisor experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to speak clearly and effectively
• Frequently required to stand; use mobility, handle or feel; and reach
• Occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
• Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 25 pounds
