Assistant Residence Manager - Hamlin, NY - Days/Evenings

About the role

Support daily operations of a residential home, ensuring compassionate, person-centered services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living skills, communication, recreation, and community inclusion.
• Administer and monitor medications; coordinate and track medical appointments.
• Supervise and support staff schedules, training, and responsibilities; act as shift leader and assume leadership in the Residence Manager’s absence.
• Assist in developing and implementing individualized service plans, nursing plans, and behavioral support strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with OPWDD and agency requirements.
• Respond to behavioral or medical emergencies, implementing SCIP-R and crisis response strategies.
• Collaborate with families, advocates, clinicians, and staff to ensure holistic, individualized support.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of related experience, OR one year of college coursework in human services or a related field.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).
• SCIP-R Level I required; Level II may be required depending on assignment.
• Must meet Lifetime Assistance Vehicle Operator requirements including a valid driver’s license and 2 years of driving experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and documentation skills; familiarity with OPWDD regulations preferred.

Schedule

• Full-Time, 40 hours/week
• Wednesday: 3 pm–11 pm
• Thursday: 9 am–5 pm
• Friday: 1 pm–9 pm
• Saturday: 7 am–3 pm
• Sunday: 3 pm–11 pm
• Monday and Tuesday: OFF

Pay

$24.19 - $27.45/hour
