Assistant Research Professor - Nuclear Engineering
The Department of Nuclear Engineering at Penn State invites applications for an Assistant Research Professor position focusing on the growth of nuclear engineering in the advanced reactor space. The successful candidate will help establish expertise in computational thermal-hydraulics and collaborate with current departmental faculty.
Requirements
- Possess a terminal degree or its equivalent in an academic field related to research or a master's degree or its equivalent in an academic field related to teaching specialization.
- Show demonstrated ability as a researcher and evidence of professional growth and scholarship in their discipline.
- Possess a degree in nuclear engineering or a closely related field is preferred.
Qualifications
- Expertise in computational thermal-hydraulics.
- Closely collaborate with current departmental faculty in thermal-hydraulics.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
