About the role
The Division of Palliative Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine seeks candidates for full-time PhD research faculty positions and physician clinical research faculty appointments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical, translational, and health services research focused on identifying and addressing the multifactorial sources of suffering associated with serious illness.
- Contribute to the advancement of the science of serious illness care through rigorous research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and scholarly dissemination.
Requirements
- PhD in relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Experience in conducting research related to palliative medicine.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines.
- Strong publication record or potential for high-quality research.
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Research experience in palliative medicine or related fields.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
