Assistant Rehab Director PT or OT

Responsibilities

• Lead, orient, and mentor all therapy staff
• Review all relevant data and utilize clinical judgment to ensure appropriate delivery of therapy care
• Plan accordingly to schedule staff based on clinical needs and coordinate treatment activity of staff members
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and organization of all departmental paperwork, including conducting documentation audits
• Promptly prepare and deliver any regular or ad hoc reports
• Establish and promote clinical programs/enhancements as indicated
• Adhere to established confidentiality standards
• Engage in recruiting interviews, employee development, goal setting, constructive feedback, corrective actions, and performance appraisals
• Work proactively to manage and build PRN pool, contact, and schedule as needed
• Participate in facility and company meetings
• Analyze, interpret, and achieve budget expectations on a consistent basis
• Ensure staff are all understood and are compliant with Federal, State, and Local laws, rules, and regulations related to therapy service delivery
• Develop professional working relationships with staff, facility team members, residents, and resident family members
