Responsibilities
- Lead, orient, and mentor all therapy staff
- Review all relevant data and utilize clinical judgement to ensure appropriate delivery of therapy care
- Plan accordingly to schedule staff based on clinical needs and coordinate treatment activity of staff members
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and organization of all departmental paperwork, including conducting documentation audits
- Promptly prepare and deliver any regular or ad hoc reports
- Establish and promote clinical programs/enhancements as indicated
- Adhere to established confidentiality standards
- Engage in recruiting interviews, employee development, goal setting, constructive feedback, corrective actions, and performance appraisals
- Work proactively to manage and build PRN pool, contact, and schedule as needed
- Participate in facility and company meetings
- Analyze, interpret, and achieve budget expectations on a consistent basis
- Ensure staff are all understood and are compliant with Federal, State, and Local laws, rules, and regulations related to therapy service delivery
- Develop professional working relationships with staff, facility team members, residents, and resident family members
