Assistant Regional Property Manager

Monarch Investment and Management Group (“Monarch”) is growing again and actively interviewing for an Experienced Assistant Regional Property Manager to lead our team in the East Lansing, Michigan area. This portfolio consists of 7 conventional market-rate communities, all within a 30-mile radius, and offers an excellent Regional mentor.

About the role

Monarch is the 10th largest multifamily property owner in the country, privately owned since 1992, and currently owns/self-manages over 81,695 apartments across 26 states. We employ a long-range hold strategy, focusing on community investment and employee commitment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain an “A” team to manage the assigned communities.
• Manage the full-cycle operational and financial responsibilities of a “Region.”
• Make strategic changes to increase income, decrease expenses, and grow net operating income.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in Multifamily Housing management.
• Experience managing multiple communities.
• Proven track record of successfully leading a team of 15+.
• Thorough understanding of the financial aspects of running a portfolio.
• Able to pass a soft credit review, criminal background check, and drug screening.
