Assistant Receiving Manager

JOB DETAILS Job Summary The Assistant Receiving Manager supports receiving operations by assisting with the processing of incoming shipments, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with company procedures. This role helps ensure efficient daily operations and supports inventory accuracy. Key Responsibilities Support daily receiving operations to ensure accurate processing of incoming shipmentsAssist in verifying deliveries for accuracy, quality, and proper documentationMaintain receiving records and support inventory accuracyHelp identify and report discrepancies such as damages or shortagesProvide support and guidance to receiving staff during daily operationsAssist with scheduling and workflow coordination for receiving activitiesEnsure receiving areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety standardsCommunicate operational issues or concerns to management Qualifications Previous experience in receiving, warehouse, or inventory operationsBasic understanding of receiving processesStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAttention to detail and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in a supervisory or lead roleFamiliarity with inventory and receiving processesExperience in high-volume environments Work Environment / Expectations Primarily warehouse or receiving environment. Requires standing, walking, and handling product for extended periods. May require schedule flexibility based on delivery schedules and business needs.
