Responsibilities

• Oversee all farm operations including adjusting the chicken house environment.
• Collect and properly handle eggs, and dispose of daily mortality.
• Operate tractors and equipment for cleaning chicken houses and farm maintenance.
• Set up and place birds, prepare for ship out of birds.
• Maintain compliance with company programs, procedures, and safety standards.
• Manage farm labor and maintain good employer/employee relations.
• Communicate effectively with higher authority and accurately complete all records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of successful poultry management experience.
• Outstanding motivation: self-starter with minimal supervision required.
• Good oral and communication skills, and strong math skills.
• Strong mechanical skills are preferred.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) is preferred.
• Pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.

Pay

The pay rate is $20.00 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm, and an additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am.
