Assistant Quality Control Coordinator

About the Role

Provide administrative support to assistant football coaches in assigned areas of the intercollegiate football program. Break down film from practices, games, and opponents’ games for review by the head coach, coordinators, assistant coaches, and student-athletes. Maintain confidentiality with all information regarding UGA Football, including players, coaches, staff, prospects, and visitors. Ensure compliance with NCAA, SEC, and institutional rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to assistant football coaches in assigned areas of the intercollegiate football program (70%).
• Break down film from practices, games, and opponents’ games for review by coaching staff and student-athletes.
• Utilize XO’s video system to run reports for assigned position coach and Quality Control Coordinator for daily practices and team meetings.
• Anticipate the needs of the Quality Control Coordinators; respond promptly and act with autonomy to complete tasks related to the football program.
• Represent the interest and image of the Head Coach, the University of Georgia, and the UGA Athletic Association.
• Assist with on-campus recruiting hosting on game days (20%).
• Perform other duties as assigned (10%).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret NCAA, SEC, and institutional rules and regulations.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
• Ability to solve practical problems in situations with limited standardization.
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Stand, walk, use hands to feel and reach, sit, talk, or hear.
• Close, distance, and peripheral vision; ability to work in high-noise environments during practice and competition.
• Ability to work nontraditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to travel and drive as needed to perform job-related duties.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in intercollegiate athletics, preferably football.

Pay

Advertised salary: $43,888.

Schedule

Full-time. Ability to work nontraditional hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
