About the role

The Assistant Public Works Superintendent position is open and promotional.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise Public Works staff
• Oversee maintenance and repair of public infrastructure
• Develop and implement public works policies and procedures
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient service delivery

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in public works management
• Valid California driver's license
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred

Skills

• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Salary: $8,653 - $11,554 / Month
