Assistant Property Manager Charlotte, NC (South)

About the role
This position involves front-line resident services, team interaction, fast-paced learning, and communicating in persuasive and difficult situations. Leadership or management experience is required. Attention to detail is necessary. Previous property management experience is a plus but not required if you have solid management experience from customer service, sales, or hospitality environments. We provide training and coaching to master the necessary skill sets and direction for professional development.
Responsibilities
- Engage with prospects interested in our communities by answering internet leads, phone calls, scheduling appointments, and conducting property tours.
- Process leasing applications, prepare lease paperwork, request security deposits, and facilitate lease signings.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, assisting with renewals, notices to vacate, early terminations, pet additions, apartment transfers, and account inquiries.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams: inspect apartments upon completion, monitor property needs, and follow up on work orders or maintenance requests.
- Create a welcoming move-in experience for new residents.
- Manage move-out processes, including security deposit dispositions.
- Post rent payments and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Plan, prepare, and host resident activities.
- Lead the team, assist with training, and help accomplish property goals.
- Support the Property Manager as needed.

Pay
Competitive hourly rates starting at $21/hour, increasing based on experience, plus quarterly bonuses.
Schedule
Must be available to work rotating Saturdays and occasional evenings for resident events.
