Assistant Property Manager

About the role

This role assists in maintaining compliance and the successful day-to-day operations in all aspects of property management under the direction of the Property Manager. Key responsibilities include maintaining customer service, reviewing resident files, and communicating with residents about outstanding balances.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest level of customer service and online presence to obtain satisfactory scores on surveys/reviews from residents and prospects.
• Screening qualifications and application criteria, lease paperwork, rent collection, and move-in/move-out procedures.
• Tour community, amenities and vacant apartments with prospects and have current knowledge of apartment specifications, vacancies, notices, and rental rates.
• Communicate with residents regarding outstanding balances, implement procedures for collecting on delinquent balances, and enforce the lease.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1-2 years onsite as a Leasing Consultant required.
• Competence in personal computer skills, keyboard, internet search, math, Microsoft Office Suite; including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• A thorough understanding and application of Fair Housing laws.
• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Pay

The expected compensation range for this position is $25.00 – $27.00, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible.
