Job Overview

Company: NEW ROAD Construction Management.
Salary/Pay Rate: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
Location: Cherry Hill, NJ.
Job/Employment Type: Full Time on site.

Project Scope

Professional Construction Management as the Owner's Representative. (K-12, Higher Ed, and institutional projects)

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • High level of computer literacy and proficiency with standard office software.
  • Ability to read and understand basic architectural and engineering plans.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to act as a self-starter in a field environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for preparing meeting notes and reports.
  • Physical capability to climb ladders and work in varied hot and cold weather conditions.
  • Computer skills and proficiency in MS office suite.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Associates Degree in a related field of study or trade level management experience.
  • Up to 5 years of experience in construction management, scheduling or quality assurance.
  • Familiarity with civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical design sequences.
  • Advanced understanding of contract administration and regulatory agency coordination.
  • HVAC or electrical experience is a plus.
  • Commercial roofing experience is a plus.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Document daily site activities and progress reports to maintain project transparency and accountability.
  • Cookordinate essential project activities and job meetings to ensure all team members remain aligned.
  • Review architectural and engineering designs to verify that project execution matches contract documents.
  • Maintain detailed logs and filing systems to support efficient contract administration and quality assurance.
  • Follow-up aggressively on open issues and technical details to keep construction moving forward.
  • Interface with contractor superintendents and testing services to verify compliance with safety codes.
  • Support pre-construction efforts by evaluating design processes against the owner’s specific requirements.
