Assistant Project Manager Multi-family

About the role
Assist in managing projects ranging from occupied restorations to adaptive reuse and new construction, with the opportunity to grow into a Project Manager role within 1-2 years. Work on large, complex projects up to $50M in a collaborative and family-oriented company culture with strong project pipeline and long-term employee retention.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, closeout logs, and other project documentation
- Support budgeting, procurement, schedule updates, and cost control processes
- Communicate regularly with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal project teams
- Conduct site walks and assist in supervising field activities to ensure adherence to plans and quality expectations
- Help maintain safety protocols and compliance requirements across multiple job sites
- Participate in subcontractor coordination and ensure project milestones are tracked and executed
- Review drawings, specifications, and scopes to support accurate buyout and project planning
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager in commercial or multifamily construction
- Ability and desire to grow into a PM role within 1-2 years or preference to remain an experienced, long-term APM
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and coordination abilities
- Experience working on occupied, multifamily, renovation, or adaptive reuse projects (preferred)
- Proficiency with construction software such as Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, or similar platforms

Pay
Base Salary: $90K-$110K
