Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Project Manager and Practice Leadership to support the planning, execution, and delivery of projects.
  • Aid in the development of proposals, scopes of work, budgets, and cost estimates, contributing to accurate project planning and resource allocation.
  • Support engineering planning, analysis, design, and coordination efforts across project phases, including design, permitting, and construction.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external sub-consultants to ensure alignment on technical requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Participate in QA/QC processes to maintain quality standards and adherence to industry best practices.
  • Contribute to solving design and project challenges by evaluating alternatives and supporting the development of effective solutions.
  • Engage in day-to-day communication and coordination among team members, with increasing responsibility for managing project components as experience grows.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with team members and clients, supporting overall client satisfaction.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff as appropriate, while continuing to develop leadership capabilities.
  • Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Complete administrative responsibilities accurately and on time, including time entry, expense reporting, and project documentation.
  • Engage in professional development activities, including participation in industry associations and networking opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or other related field.
  • Texas Professional Engineer registration preferred.
  • 4+ years of direct experience.
