Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in leading the project team, goal setting, developing policies and procedures to guide the project/program and mentor team members.
- Carry out duties as assigned by the Project Manager to achieve the successful completion of the project/program.
- Represent the owner’s interest in managing design professionals and contractors constructing state of the art Healthcare facilities and upgrading infrastructure.
- Lead cross-functional healthcare projects and initiatives with demanding resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
- Monitor design and construction activities to ensure that all phases of work are done in accordance with contractual agreements and corporate quality standards.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules. Ensure that project objectives are met.
- Assist in the evaluation, development, and selection of standards, protocols, policies and procedures to facilitate project success.
- Monitor Infection control methods implemented by the construction team and each project.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management.
- Demonstrated history of managing minimum of $1 million in healthcare or related construction types.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate at all levels internally and externally to establish credibility on project teams.
- Knowledge and ability to creatively resolve issues as they arise.
- High proficiency with general Microsoft applications, including MS Project and Share Point.
- Demonstrated experience with project management software and applications.
Qualifications
- Required Skills: Bachelor’s Degree, in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management.
- Minimum of $1 million in healthcare or related construction types experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to creatively resolve issues.
- Proficiency with general Microsoft applications, including MS Project and Share Point.
- Experience with project management software and applications.
