We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the Commercial Construction sector.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Project Manager in planning, managing, and executing commercial construction projects from inception to completion.
• Coinciding and supervising construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
• Utilizing Procore software for project management tasks including scheduling, cost control, and communication.
• Direct involvement in ground up construction, industrial projects, self-storage facilities, and concrete works.
• Managing project documentation and ensuring all aspects of the project are accurately recorded and reported.
• Identifying potential issues or delays and proposing effective solutions to mitigate risks.
• Facilitating regular meetings with project stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback.
• Ensuring all construction projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
• Promoting a positive and safe work environment at all times.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the commercial construction industry, with a focus on climate-controlled, ground up construction, industrial, self-storage, and concrete projects.
• Proven experience as an Assistant Project Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in using Procore or similar project management software.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and safety regulations.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and liaise with various stakeholders.
• A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management.
• Certifications in Project Management, Health and Safety, or related areas would be an advantage.
• The ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
