Job Description
Support Project Managers, Superintendents and Project Engineers throughout all phases of construction
- Prepare, distribute and track submittals, requests for information, change orders and other project documentation
- Maintain project files, drawings, specifications, contracts and correspondence
- Cookordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, consultants and internal team members
- Aid with subcontractor onboarding, insurance documentation, contracts and purchase orders
- Track project schedules, action items, procurement deadlines and outstanding deliverables
- Prepare meeting agendas, take meeting minutes and distribute follow up items
- Aid with project billing, cost documentation, change order logs and budget tracking
- Help maintain accurate information within the company’s construction management software
- Provide administrative and operational support to ensure projects remain organized and on schedule
Qualifications
- 1 or more years of project coordination, administrative or construction industry experience required
- Experience with a general contractor, subcontractor, architecture firm or engineering firm is a plus
- Aid with preconstruction and bidding efforts, including subcontractor outreach, bid solicitation and proposal tracking
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience with Procore or similar construction management software is preferred
- Ability to read and organize construction drawings, specifications and project documentation is a plus
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, business administration or a related field is preferred but not required
